The encryption is 40-bit RC4 WEPencryption. Additionally, MW1122 supports 128-bit RC4 WEPencryption.2.2.13 Weighted Fair Queueing (Class of Service)As a Class of Service (CoS) function, MW1122 supports WeightedFair Queueing (WFQ) for each ATM VCC. The CoS function ensuresthat different IP traffic flows are treated fairly in the upstream (towardsthe Internet) direction. This may be necessary, in some cases, becausethe upstream capacity of the ADSL line is somewhat limited comparedto the Ethernet bandwidth on the office or home LAN. The WFQ CoSfunction classifies IP traffic flows based on IP address, protocol andport fields. It is capable of identifying the IP flow from all supportedpayload encapsulation formats. WFQ works properly only withIP-based protocols. If the flow is IP-based but is encrypted using IPSecor PPP encryption, then WFQ cannot identify the flows correctly. Inthis case, the default flow is used and the default flow is treated as asingle flow.2.2.14 ManagementThere are three management methods in MW1122: Command line interface (CLI) through console serial port CLI via telnet Web browser managementThe CLI allows complete configuration of the unit; the Web browsermanagement allows the configuration of the most frequently usedconfiguration parameters.2.2.15 Dedicated management channelThe operator or the Internet Service Provider can establish a dedicatedmanagement channel to MW1122.
