To change the settings, see‘Cover display’, p. 99.To make calls or use the menu, open the fold.To use the flash as a torch light, press the flash key on theside of the device. To operate the torch light:• Quickly press the flash key once. The torch light isactivated for 1.5 seconds.• Quickly press the flash key twice. The torch light isactivated for 3 minutes, or until you press the flash keyagain.• Press and hold the flash key. The torch light isactivated and stays on for as long as you hold the keyor until the 3 minute time-out ends.Fold open modeWhen you open the fold, theFold open mode is activatedautomatically: the maindisplay lights up, the keypad isavailable, and you can accessthe menu. Scroll in the menuwith the scroll key.The Fold open mode isactivated even if the fold isnot fully opened. The fold opens about 160 degrees, asshown in the picture. Do not force the fold to open more.Imaging modeWhen you open the fold upto 90 degrees, hold thedevice sideways, and turnthe fold down so that themain display faces you, theImaging mode is activated.The main camera isactivated, and you can seethe view to be captured.In the Imaging mode, youcan record videos and take pictures. See ‘Camera’, p. 22.In the Imaging mode, the keypad is not active. You can usethe capture key, zoom key, side scroll key, camera modekey, and flash key (all located on the side of the device),power key, and the landscape selection keys and selectionkeys next to the main display.View modeWhen the fold is closed and you lift the side of the swingaxis display when the fold is closed, the View mode isactivated.
