Message sent as — To learn if your message centre is ableto convert text messages into these other formats, contactyour service provider.Preferred connection — Select the connection to use.Reply via same centre — Select whether you want the replymessage to be sent using the same text message centrenumber (network service).Multimedia message settingsSelect Menu > Messaging and Options > Settings >Multimedia message.Select from the following:Image size — Define the size of the image in a multimediamessage.MMS creation mode — If you select Guided, the deviceinforms you if you try to send a message that may not besupported by the recipient. If you select Restricted, thedevice prevents you from sending messages that may not besupported. To include content in your messages withoutnotifications, select Free.Access point in use — Select which access point is used asthe preferred connection.Multimedia retrieval — Select how you want to receivemessages, if available. To receive messages automatically inyour home network, select Auto in home netw.. Outsideyour home network, you receive a notification that there is amessage to retrieve in the multimedia message centre. If youselect Always automatic, your device automatically makesan active packet data connection to retrieve the messageboth in and outside your home network. Select Manual toretrieve multimedia messages from the message centremanually, or Off to prevent receipt of any multimediamessages. Automatic retrieval may not be supported in allregions.Allow anonymous msgs. — Reject messages fromanonymous senders.Receive adverts — Receive multimedia messageadvertisements (network service).Receive reports — Display the status of sent messages inthe log (network service).Deny report sending — Prevent your device from sendingdelivery reports of received messages.Message validity — Select for how long the message centreresends your message if the first attempt fails (networkservice). If the message cannot be sent within this timeperiod, the message is deleted from the message centre.The device requires network support to indicate that a sentmessage has been received or read.
