114DraftSection 15: Battery and Charger InformationYour device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The batteryintended for use with this device is BL-4C. Nokia may makeadditional battery models available for this device. This device isintended for use when supplied with power from the followingchargers: AC-6U and AC-10U. The exact charger model numbermay vary depending on the type of plug. The plug variant isidentified by one of the following: E, EB, X, AR, U, A, C or UB.The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but itwill eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times arenoticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery. Use only Nokiaapproved batteries, and recharge your battery only with Nokiaapproved chargers designated for this device. Use of an unapprovedbattery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, orother hazard.If a battery is being used for the first time or if the battery has notbeen used for a prolonged period, it may be necessary to connect thecharger, then disconnect and reconnect it to begin charging thebattery. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take severalminutes before the charging indicator appears on the display orbefore any calls can be made.Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger beforeremoving the battery.
