You can view details of installedapplications, remove applications, anddefine installation settings.You can install the following types ofapplications:• Java™ ME applications that havethe .jad or .jar file extension• Applications, compatible with theSymbian operating system, that havethe .sis or .sisx file extension• Widgets that have the .wgz fileextensionOnly install applications that arecompatible with your phone.Remove an application from yourdeviceYou can remove installed applications thatyou no longer want to keep or use, toincrease the amount of available memory.Select Menu > Settings and Applicationmanager.1 Select Installed apps..2 Select and hold the application toremove, and from the pop-up menu,select Uninstall.If you remove an application, you can onlyreinstall it, if you have the originalinstallation file or a full backup of theremoved application. You may not be ableto open files created with a removedapplication.If an installed application depends on aremoved application, the installedapplication may stop working. For details,see the user documentation of theinstalled application.The installation files may use largeamounts of memory and prevent you fromstoring other files. Use Nokia Ovi Suite toback up installation files to a compatiblePC, then file manager to remove theinstallation files from the device memory.Synchronise contentAbout SyncSelect Menu > Settings andConnectivity > Data transfer > Sync.With the Sync application, you cansynchronise your contacts, notes, andother content between your device and aremote server.
