Optical control assembly, units with serial numbers 832171 and higherDiagnostic ModeThe Diagnostic Mode uses ten diagnostic channels,commonly known as "screens," to display "live"inputs, outputs, and fault history. Each screen isnumbered. The screen number is always displayed onthe left side of the optical control assembly display.See Figures 43 and 44.This optical control display uses a dual 7-segmentLED module to display the screen number anddiagnostic information. Information displayed is madeup of four letters or digits that flash in an alternatingsequence. Fault history, "live" inputs, and outputs arepresented using LED segments. The diagnostic LEDsegments, if present, display to the right of the screennumber. For diagnostic LED segments identificationnumbers, see Figure 44.Exiting the Diagnostic ModeTo exit the Diagnostic Mode:1. Press and hold MODEand TEMPSETbuttons at thesame time.2. Release the MODEand TEMPSETbuttons as soon as thedisplay shows .Turning the refrigerator OFF then back ON also exitsthe Diagnostic Mode.DIAGNOSTIC MODE - UNITS S/N 832171 AND ABOVEAccessing the Diagnostic ModeTo access the Diagnostic Mode:1. Press and hold both the MODEand TEMPSETbuttons atthe same time.2. Release the MODEand TEMPSETbuttons as soon asscreen displays.3.
