The default in this contextmeans that after rebooting the device (warm, cold, hardware, or reloading the system) thealphanumeric keypad is in its default mode. This default mode can be changed with the help of the‘NID Keypad’ control panel applet.Before you begin, open the ‘NID Keypad’ control panel applet (see section ‘Control Panel’).To change the default mode of the alphanumeric keys:1. With one trackbarslider the adjustment applies to backlight brightness when the device is in the ‘On’ power state.
