It is recommended that defrost-ing be performed when there are no itemsstored in the freezer.Proceed as follows:1. Disconnect the power supply.2. Place a bowl of hot (but not boiling) waterin the freezer, close the door and wait ap-prox. 30 minutes before removing loosefrost with the plastic scraper.3. To prevent water from damaging the floorduring defrosting, it is advisable to coverthe floor around the freezer to protectagainst ice and splashes. When all thefrost and ice have melted, clean theinside of the appliance using water witha mild, perfume-free detergent. Dry thefreezer with a soft cloth.4.
