To calibrate the ramp, press andhold the 15 Calorie Workouts button for several sec-onds until the test mode appears in the display.Press the 15 Calorie Workouts button again. Then,press the 1 Step Power Ramp increase or decreasebutton to calibrate the ramp. The ramp will moveupward and downward as it calibrates.When the ramp stops moving, the ramp is calibrated.Then, press the 15 Calorie Workouts button repeatedlyto exit the calibration mode.HOW TO GREASE THE PEDAL ARM ROLLERSSee the EXPLODED DRAWING near the end of thismanual. If the Pedal Arm Rollers (51) squeak whenmoving on the Left and Right Tracks (16, 146), apply asmall amount of white marine grease equally to eachPedal Arm Roller. Spread the grease evenly aroundthe Pedal Arm Rollers. Pedal the elliptical until a thinfilm of grease is distributed along the Left and RightTracks; then, wipe off any excess grease.HOW TO ADJUST THE REED SWITCHIf the console does not display correct feedback, thereed switch should be adjusted.To adjust the reed switch, you must first remove theshield cover and center shield assembly and the pulleycover (see the instructions below).First, remove the two indicated M4 x 16mm Screws(101) from the Center Shield (76). Next, using a flatscrewdriver, release the tabs on the sides and rear ofthe Shield Cover (75). Then, slide the Center Shieldand Shield Cover forward.Next, see EXPLODED DRAWING A on page 29.Remove the four M4 x 16mm Screws (101) from thePulley Cover (15), and then remove the Pulley Cover.
