14HOW TO MOVE THE ELLIPTICALDue to the size and weight of the elliptical, movingit requires two persons. Stand in front of the ellipti-cal, hold the upright, and place one foot against oneof the wheels. Have a second person lift the handleon the rear of the frame until the elliptical will roll onthe wheels. Carefully move the elliptical to the desiredlocation, and then lower it to the floor.HOW TO LEVEL THE ELLIPTICALIf the elliptical rocks slightly on your floor during use,turn one or both of the leveling feet beneath the rearstabilizer or beneath the frame until the rocking motionis eliminated.HOW TO EXERCISE ON THE ELLIPTICALTo mount the elliptical, hold the upper body arms orthe handlebars and step onto the pedal that is in thelower position. Then, step onto the other pedal. Pushthe pedals until they begin to move with a continuousmotion. Note: The crank arms can turn in eitherdirection. It is recommended that you turn thecrank arms in the direction shown by the arrow;however, for variety, you can turn the crank arms inthe opposite direction.To dismount the elliptical, wait until the pedals come toa complete stop. Note: The elliptical does not havea free wheel; the pedals will continue to move untilthe flywheel stops. When the pedals are stationary,step off the higher pedal first.
