20Inspect and tighten all parts of the elliptical crosstrainerregularly. Replace any worn parts immediately.For smoothoperation ofthe ellipticalcrosstrainer,the inclineframe shouldbe kept clean.Using a softcloth and milddetergent,clean dust andother residuefrom the inclineframe wherethe wheels make contact with it. Other parts of theelliptical crosstrainer can also be cleaned in this way.Never use abrasives or solvents.To prevent damage to the console, keep liquids awayfrom the console. Always remove the batteries fromthe console when storing the elliptical crosstrainer.BATTERY REPLACEMENTIf the letters LO appear in the console display, thebatteries should be checked. Refer to assembly step 5on page 7 to find the location of the battery compart-ment. An E (for Englishmiles) or an M (for metric kilometers) will appear in thedisplay. (To change the unit of measurement, press the+ button.) Press the Display button. The display willthen show the number of hours that the elliptical exer-ciser has been used.
