After you successfully load the configuration file andsave your configuration, you may want to write-protect the memory cardfor backup purposes.Typically, you do not operate an Ethernet Routing Switch 8000 Series with awrite-protected memory card. Make a copy of your configuration on anothermemory card, write-protect that card, and store it in a safe place.
