To enter these commands you will access the system console. The system console canbe accessed using either of the methods below.Local Console AccessYou can log on to the local SCS server be completing the following tasks.1 Attach a monitor and keyboard to your SCS server.2 Turn on the server, if it is not already on.3 When the login appears, log on with the following credentials and press Enter after each entry:Username: rootPassword: use the password you defined during installationA command line displays.Remote Console AccessFor remote access, you will need to use an SSH client. Putty, a free SSH client, is available at:http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html.1 Download and install Putty.2 Start-up Putty. In the Host Name field, enter the IP address or host name of your SCS.3 Confirm that the port is 22 and the SSH protocol is selected, then click Open.4 The remote console login appears.
