36 Step 5: Installing the Ceiling-Mount Bezel Kit (Optional) and Nortel WLAN — Access Port (223x)216394-B Rev 00Step 5: Installing the Ceiling-Mount Bezel Kit (Optional) andNortel WLAN — Access Port (223x)The Ceiling-Mount Bezel kit consists of the following components:• Installation Bracket with attached tension adjusters• Bezel (left and right halves)• Bezel installation screws (2)Figure - 12. Ceiling Mount Bezel Kit Components1. Find the required mounting locations.2. When possible, remove the ceiling tile in which the kit is to be mounted.3. Using the bracket as a template, trace the round shape of the bracket on the plenum side of the tile or drywall.It is a circle with a diameter of 7 inches (19 cm).4. Using the large razor knife or keyhole saw, cut out the hole you have just traced.5. Insert the installation bracket into the hole you have just cut from the plenum side. Ensure the three tensionholders grip the tile or drywall, as shown in the following figure.Figure - 13. Bracket Installed in Ceiling Tile or Drywall from Plenum Side6. From the room side of the tile, slip the Nortel WLAN — Access Port (223x) into the center of the bezel.
