The KS Synth General SettingsIn KS Synth Mode, there are some settings which are common acrossall 200 Synth patches, that is to say they affect all of the Synth patchesin the same way. These settings are :The Audio settings for Channel 1 (the KS Synth Effects use Channel 2and can be unique for each Synth patch).The operation of the Footswitch.The operation of the Expression Pedal.The operation of the Pitch Bend / Modulation joystick.The operation of the Touchpad.The function of the Transport buttons.The function of the SELECT and CONTROL controls in the Effects sec-tion of the front panel.Except for the Audio Channel 1 settings, all of these features can be re-programmed in a similar fashion to programming a control in TemplateEdit Mode in a standard X-Station Template. Simply press the TEM-PLATE EDIT button from within KS Synth Mode and edit the feature inthe normal way.If re-programming these features, remember that they will behave in thesame manner across all Synth Patches.Saving The KS Synth General SettingsWhen an edited Synth Patch is written to memory in the proceduredescribed on page 35, the General Settings are not included in the datasaved.To save the KS Synth General Settings, press either the TEMPLATECOMMON or TEMPLATE EDIT button from KS Synth Mode (theappropriate button LED lights) and press the WRITE button. The displayshows :Save GeneralSettingsPress the WRITE button to continue the saving process or the PLAYbutton to abandon the save. If WRITE is pressed, the display shows :TEMPLATE SAVEDand the KS Synth General Settings are stored.
