ENEN7 8SENA Instructions SENA InstructionsStrangulation HazardsStrings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep strings andcords away from child.NEVER place the product near a window where cords fromblinds or drapes can strangle a child.NEVER hang strings on or over the product.NEVER place items with a string around a child’s neck, suchas hood strings, pacifier cords, etc.NEVER attach strings to toys.BASSINET WARNINGSFailure to follow these warnings and instructions couldresult in serious injury or death.SETTING UP THE BASSINETThe bassinet must be fully assembled and installed beforeusing, including 4 corner buckles, 4 snaps under centerflaps, and mattress/pad flat, before using.USING THE BASSINETYou are responsible to provide adult supervision when usingyour bassinet.Always keep the bassinet away from hazards in the area thatmay injure your child.SUFFOCATION HAZARD:Infants can suffocate:In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet.On soft bedding:Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. UseONLY mattress/pad provided by Nuna.FALL HAZARD:To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infantbegins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 15pounds (6.8 kg), whichever comes first.STRANGULATION HAZARD:Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with astring around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifiercords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or attachstrings to toys.To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthyinfants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwiseadvised by your physician.Use bassinet with only one child at a time.Child can become entrapped and die when improvisednetting or covers are placed on top of product. Never addsuch items to confine child in product.NEVER leave accessory in place when child is in playpen.If the accessory is in place, child in playpen can lift or shiftaccessory and get neck trapped between accessory andplaypen frame. This could lead to restriction of the child’sairway resulting in serious injury or death.If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided byNuna or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of thepad.Do not modify bassinet or add any attachments that are notlisted in the owner’s manual.Never place a child under the bassinet.
