Moreover, individual DVR icons also act as a supplementaryicon to display individual DVR’s status.The status of the DVR is displayed in five different icons.1) NormalWhen the DVR is working within normal parameters, the icon color remains blue.Double-click on the icon to begin live monitoring.2) Network connection in progressWhen the CMS program is first run or when the DVR has been added for the firsttime, the icon will display an exclamation point and will change its color to orange.If the icon is double-clicked while theconnection is in progress, “Connecting…please stand by.” pop-up window willappear. Click on Retry to reinitiate theconnection process or Cancel to return tothe main window.3) Network Error / DisconnectionIf the DVR is disconnected due to a network error, or if the CMS was not able toconnect to the DVR due to an invalid address, port or password, the icon willdisplay a “prohibited” sign and will change its color to pink.
