Warranty ServiceWarranty service must be performed by an authorized servicecenter, usually a NXG speaker systems dealer or its authorizedagent. You may obtain a list of authorized service centers bycontacting NXG. All warranty repairs must be accompanied bythe original bill of sales. No other document is acceptable or isrequired. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and youmay also have other rights which vary from state to state.NXG reserves the right to revise speaker system specifications without notice.(Continued from front)NXG Speakers Three-Year Limited WarrantyIf the NXG speaker system proves to be defective in workmanship or materials within threeyears from the date of the original customer’s purchase, we will, at our option, repair orreplace the defective product.Limitation of Implied WarrantiesAny implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particularpurpose, are limited in duration to the length of this warranty.Exclusion of Certain DamagesNXG’s liability for any defective product is limited to repair or replacement of the product atour option. NXG shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind orcharacter because of product defects. Some states do not allow limitations on how long animplied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or conse-quential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply.6. See Fig. 5.With the speakerwire attached tothe speaker, slidethe speaker upinside the cut-outhole. Center thespeaker in thecut-out hole andturn the fourlocking screwsclockwise untilthe speaker isdrawn up snugly to thewall board from behind, clamp-ing the speaker in place. Try to tight-en each screw equally. Replace the speaker grillby gently pressing it into place.New Construction1. Determine speaker locations and mark them onyour plans for future reference.2. If possible, run speaker wires after HVAC andelectrical wiring is in place.3. Secure speaker wires in place along the runwith insulated staples only and be careful not topierce the wire’s insulation. Allow a bit of slackfor expansion of building materials.4. Needless to say, the actual speakers should notbe installed until the wall board is in place. In themeantime, leave several feet of wire coiled up andsecured at the back side of the mounting hole.5. To complete the installation follow steps 2through 5 above.Operational CheckAfter making all connections it’s a good idea tomake sure every thing is working properly. Turn onyour surround or stereo system making sure thevolume control is turned down and that the balancecontrol is in the center position. Activate a musicalor movie source such as FM, a CD or DVD player.Gently turn up the volume, you should hear soundcoming from your new NXG speakers.
