Adventurer Pro EN-253.7 Balance SettingsRefer to Section 3.4.2 to enter and navigate the menus.3.7.1 CalibrationAdventurer Pro balances offer a choice of five calibration methods: Internal Calibration (InCALTM ),Span Calibration, Linearity Calibration, Calibration Test TM and Calibration Adjust.•InCalInCalInCalInCalInCal TM - For models equipped with Internal calibration (InCALTM ), calibration of thebalance is accomplished by an internal mass.•SpanSpanSpanSpanSpan - Span calibration ensures that the balance reads correctly withinspecifications using two weight values: zero and a weight value between25% and 100% of the balance’s capacity.•LinearityLinearityLinearityLinearityLinearity - Linearity calibration minimizes deviation between actual and displayedweights within the balance’s weighing range. Three weight values areused: zero, a weight value at midpoint of the balance's weighing range, and a weight value at or near the balance’s specified capacity.•Cal TestCal TestCal TestCal TestCal Test - Calibration test allows the stored calibration data to be tested against thecurrent mass being used for the test.•Cal AdjCal AdjCal AdjCal AdjCal Adj - For models equipped with InCalTM , allows adjustment of the internalcalibration.Notes: Calibration may be locked out to prevent unauthorized personnel from changing calibration.if calibration has been locked out, you can only access Cal Test on InCalTM models. Before beginning calibration, have masses available. Masses required for calibration arelisted in the table in section 3.7. 2. Default Span Calibration Points are shown in Boldprint.
