Replacing consumable items> 70TONER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENTThe toner used in this machine is a very fine dry powder. It iscontained in four cartridges: one each for cyan, magenta, yellowand black.Have a sheet of paper handy so that you have somewhere toplace the used cartridge while you install the new one.Dispose of the old cartridge responsibly, inside the pack that thenew one came in. Follow any regulations, recommendations, etc.,which may be in force concerning waste recycling.If you do spill any toner powder, lightly brush it off. If this is notenough, use a cool, damp cloth to remove any residue. Do not usehot water, and never use solvents of any kind. They will make stainspermanent.Switch off the machine and allow the fuser to cool for about10 minutes before opening the cover.CAUTION!To avoid toner wastage and possible toner sensorerrors, do not change the toner cartridge(s) untilìTONER EMPTYî is displayed.WARNING!If you inhale any toner or get it in your eyes, drink alittle water or bathe your eyes liberally in cold water.Seek medical attention immediately. |
