The image isfused to the copy paper by applying heat and pressure through the use of a hotroller [A] and pressure roller [B].The CPU monitors the hot roller temperature through a thermistor [C] that is incontact with the hot roller surface. A thermostat [D] protects the fusing unit fromoverheating. The hot roller strippers [E] separate the copy paper from the hot roller and direct itto the exit rollers [F]. The paper feed/exit sensor [G], which is under the fusing unit, monitors the progress of the copy paper through the fusing unit and detectsmisfeeds. The exit rollers [F] drive the copy paper to the paper output tray.Springs [H] at the front and rear apply the proper fusing pressure between the hotroller and pressure roller. The fusing lamp [K] is located in the hot roller.G182D106 WMF[A][B][C][D][E][F][G][H]K
