Wait at least 5 secondsbefore re-connecting or disconnecting the cable.• The operation of a printer is not assured if a USBcompatible device is connected concurrently withother USB-compatible machines.• When connecting multiple printers of the sametype, they appear in the print folder as *****,***** (copy2), ***** (copy3), etc. Thesenumbers depend on the order of connecting orturning on each printer.• If a USB hub is used, it is necessary to connectthe USB hub directly to the computer.Installation1. After the [Add New Hardware Wizard] windowappears, click on [Next].2. Select [Search for the best driver for my device(Recommended)] and click on [Next].3. Insert the printer software CD-ROM disk into theCD-ROM drive.4. Make sure CD-ROM drive is checked and clickon [Next].5. After Windows finds the USB driver, click on[Next].6. After files have finished copying, click on[Finish].7. If the [Add New Hardware Wizard] windowappears again, click on [Cancel] and restart thecomputer.
