29Alarm Playback Function (ALARM)7 Press the REC/SET button tocomplete the setup screen.When you choose ON, the hourindicator flashes.When you choose OFF, the alarmindicator disappears and finishes withStep 12.8 Press the FF/+ or REW/– buttonto set the hour.9 Press the REC/SET button toaccept the hour.The minute indicator flashes.10 Press the FF/+ or REW/– buttonto set the minute.11 Press the REC/SET button toaccept the minute.12 Press the STOP button to closethe menu.An alarm tone will sound at the scheduled time. Press any buttonwhile the alarm sounds to play the file you associated with the alarm.A L A R MA L A R MA M 1 2 : 5 8A M 1 2 : 5 88,10127,9,11······················································································································································Notes• The alarm playback function can be set for only one file at a time.• The alarm will sound at the scheduled time every day unless the alarm playback setting is cleared.• If you wish to change the file for alarm play, first turn the alarm settings “OFF”, then make any desired newalarm settings.• The alarm will sound for 5 minutes and then stop.• If you are using the recorder at the scheduled time, the alarm will sound after you’re done.• The alarm will sound at the scheduled time even if the recorder is set to hold.
