181Charging Battery PackCharging Battery PackCharge the Ni-MH RechargeableBattery Pack using the CradleThe Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack in therecorder can be charged by connecting the ACadapter or USB cable to the cradle with therecorder set in it.Charging using Cradle and AC AdapterConnect the AC adapter to the cradle.For connection procedures, see P.75.When using the AC adapter for charging, connect thepower plug to the cradle AC connector (☞ P.21).Firmly press the recorder all the way intothe cradle as shown in the illustration.CHARGE indicator light glows red and the chargingstarts.The light goes out when the charging is complete.You can charge the Ni-MH RechargeableBattery Pack in the recorder using the cradlein combination with the USB cable or ACAdapter.
