You can select from among thefollowing 9 types of slide show playback effects.NORMALPictures on the card are played back oneframe at a time.SCROLLPictures scroll from right to left across thedisplay.FADERThe succeeding picture gradually emergesfrom out of the previous picture while theprevious picture gradually fades away.ZOOM DOWNThe scale of the current picture graduallydecreases toward the center of the image. Thesucceeding picture gradually increases inscale from the center of the image.ZOOM UPThe current picture is magnified by degreefrom its center and eventually disappears.The succeeding picture is displayedmagnified at its center and returns to standardsize by degree.CHECKERBOARDThe next picture is displayed with a veil. Theveil gradually disappears allowing the pictureto become apparent.BLINDSThe succeeding picture appears as if you opena blind on top of the current picture.SWIVELThe current picture and the succeedingpicture are displayed side-by-side, scaled-down, and enlarged. While the current pictureis scaled-down toward the left, the nextpicture is displayed to the right enlarged. (Itlooks like a cube is swiveling.)RANDOMThe camera randomly selects a slide showeffect from among SCROLL, FADER,ZOOM DOWN, ZOOM UP,CHECKERBOARD, BLINDS, and SWIVELand displays a different slide show effect perframe.Tips• The slide show function can be enabled even when the image is displayed in the index.• If sound is recorded with the picture, the playback duration for one frame of the slide show will beapproximately 5 seconds/frame. If sound is not recorded with the picture, the picture is played forapproximately 3 seconds/frame.
