Instruction Manual012-12232BExercise Heart Rate SensorPS-2129A*012-12232*Equipment IntroductionThe Exercise Heart Rate Sensor uses a transmittermounted on a transmitter strap and a receiver inside thesensor to measure heart rates from 40 to 240 beats perminute. The sensor can measure the heart rate duringexercise without a sensor cable getting in the waybecause the transmitter and the receiver communicatewirelessly. The transmitter snaps onto the transmitter strap and thestrap wraps around your chest with the transmitterpositioned over the cardiac muscle. The transmittersends the electrical signals from your heart to theExercise Heart Rate Sensor. The Exercise Heart RateSensor averages the heart rate in five second intervals. Asmall red light-emitting diode (LED) on the sensor blinkswhen a heart beat is detected. The transmitter comes with a replaceable type CR 2505battery that has an estimated life of two years (assumingRed LEDTransmitter SensorTransmitter StrapConnector SnapsStrapAdjusterElectrodes(not shown)StrapHookIncluded Part NumberExercise Heart Rate Sensor PS-2129APolar® WearLink® Set (M-XXL) PS-2524Also RequiredPASCO Interface see catalog or web sitePASCO Data Collection Software see catalog or web siteRecommended Part NumberPASPORT Extension Cable PS-2500Accessory Part NumberPolar® WearLink® strap (XS-S) PS-2519For Educational Use Only!
