5OPERATIONC. MOVEMENT1. Follow the machine (straight ahead) at a moderatewalking speed. Always keep the machine movingwhile the pad is touching the floor.2. Keep hands, fingers and feet clear of all movingparts while the machine is in operation.NEVER TILT BACK MACHINE TO MAINTENANCEPOSITION WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING.DO NOT USE FOR WET SCRUBBING OPERATIONSD. STOPPING THE ENGINE1. Turn the propane tank valve clockwise to a closedposition, then turn the key OFF.NOTE: The exhaust system will be very hot andtakes several minutes to cool, so keep yourself andall materials clear!E. TRANSPORTING THE MACHINEThe tank should be securely fastened and tank valvemust be closed.F. CLEAN THE EQUIPMENTPlace machine in the “tilt back” position with the handleforward and clean the equipment.G. STORINGTHE MACHINE & TANK1. Remove the LP tank from the machine and store thetank in an well ventilated approved area.2. Store your machine in a safe area: away from en-closed high heat, away from sparks or flames, awayfrom traffic lanes of heavy equipment.PROVIDE AND USE EAR PROTECTION DURINGOPERATION.NEVER LET AN UNTRAINED PERSON OPERATE ORPERFORM REPAIRS ON THE MACHINE. THEY MAYHURT THEMSELVES, DAMAGE THE FLOOR OR THEEQUIPMENT.ENGINE SPEED NOT TO EXCEED 3400 RPM.THIS MACHINE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PICKING UPHAZARDOUS DUST.DO NOT USE ON SURFACES WITH A GRADIENTEXCEEDING 2%.A. PREPARE THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION1. Follow steps A through E in the previous sectionand determine the best pad for the task.B. START ENGINE.1. Start engine with machine tilted so pad is off floor.2. Open propane (LPG) tank valve (counter clockwise).3. Set the throttle control at idle for 12V system.4. Turn key to the start position and move throttletoward fast position. If engine does not start, re-lease key and return to step “4”.
