Treo 680 9Turn your phone on and off. . . . . . . . . .Your phoneTurn your phone on and offWhen your phone is on, it is connected to the Cingular network (providedyou’re in a coverage area) so that you can make and receive phone callsand use wireless services, such as email, messaging, and the web browser.During initial setup, your phone is automatically turned on, so you can usewireless services right away. If you turn off your phone, you can still use theorganizer and media features such as Calendar and Pics&Videos.1. Wake up the touchscreen.2. Press and hold Power/End to turn onyour phone.You know your phone is on and that you’reinside a coverage area when you see thesignal strength icon at the top of the Maintab of the Phone app.Note: If you’re prompted for a PIN code, your SIMcard is locked. If you don’t know your PIN code, askCingular to provide you with the PIN code.3.
