Keep in mind thatairtime and other charges apply whenusing voicemail from your smartphone.Setting up voicemail1 Make sure your phone is turned on (see“Turning your phone on and off” onpage 16).2 Press Phone .3 Press and hold 1 or select theVoicemail favorite button to dial yourwireless service provider’s automatedvoicemail system.4 Follow the prompts to set up your voicemail.Voicemail notificationWhen you have a new voicemail message,you are notified with an Alert dialog box.• To dismiss the Alert dialog box, selectOK.• To play the message, select Listen.When you have messages that you havenot listened to, a Voicemail icon alsoappears in the title bar in the Phoneapplication.
