3Robata Outdoor Burner Owner and Installation ManualTO ASSEMBLE THE BURNER1. Remove the Burner Assembly and Burner Mediafrom packaging (see Parts List on page 12).2. Connect the Burner Assembly to the gas supplyusing the supplied flex connector and following theinstructions on page 5.3. Carefully leak test all connections following theprocedure on page 5.4. Fill the burner trough evenly with burner media(broken tempered glass). Do not cover pilot cagewith glass media!5. Place the burner assembly on a stable surface.6. Follow the Initial Lighting Instructions on page 7.Make sure that the flame is even along the burnerlength and appliance is fully operational and safefor use. Turn OFF the appliance and let it coolbefore proceeding to the next step.7. Carefully lift the burner and place it in its housing.(See page 4)8. Place and evenly distribute decorative topping media(lava rock or broken tempered glass) on top of burnermedia as shown in picture (if applicable). Do notcover or block the pilot cage!WARNING:Failure to position parts inaccordance with these diagramsand instructions and/or failure touse parts specifically approved foruse with this appliance may result inproperty damage or personal injury.CAUTION:Do not remove the metal dataplates attached to the Outdoor FirePit Burner. These plates containimportant information.NOTICE:Installation and repair should bedone by a qualified service person.The appliance should be inspectedbefore use and at least once annuallyby a qualified service person. Morefrequent cleaning may be requiredas necessary. It is imperative thatcontrol compartment, burner andcirculating air passageways of theappliance be kept clean.BURNER ASSEMBLY
