11Deleting (Initializing) Owner’s DataWhen you dispose of the computer or transfer the ownership, delete (initialize) theowner’s data to avoid unauthorized access. To initialize the owner’s data, performsteps 1 to 3.In other cases, refer to the required steps.1 Disable Power-on SecurityPerformed by the Computer Administrator.A Start “Control Center”. (Î page 8)B Click [Identify] - [Status] - [Power-on security status].C Click [Edit], and remove the check mark from [Enable power-on security],and click [Apply].D Click [Identify] - [Power-on Password].E Click [Manage Passwords...].F Select [Power-On] in [Password Types], and click [Unset password...].G Enter the Power-On password, and click [OK].H Click [Close].• Confirm that fingerprint data is not registered.2 Delete Fingerprint DataPerformed by each user.A Start “Control Center”. (Î page 8)B Click [Identify] - [Account Operation].C Click [Delete user data].• At the confirmation message, click [Yes].D Enter Windows log on password then, click [Send].• Confirm that there is no item in [Password Types].The data enrolled in the fingerprint sensor is not image data.
