3213 Protection Control13.1. Restart Control (Time Delay Safety Control)• When the thermo-off temperature (temperature which compressor stops to operate) is reached, the compressor stops for 3minutes (minimum) before resume operation.• If the operation is stopped by the remote control, the compressor will not turn on within 3 minutes from the moment operationstop, although the unit is on again within the period.• This phenomenon is to balance the pressure inside the refrigerant cycle.13.2. Freeze Prevention Control• After compressor starts operation for 4 minutes, the outdoor unit will stop its operation if indoor pipe temperature falls below 2ºCfor 6 minutes.• After 3 minutes stops, compressor restarts operation if indoor pipe temperature is 3ºC or more.• This phenomenon is to protect the indoor heat exchanger from freezing and to prevent higher volume of refrigerant in liquid fromreturning to the compressor.13.3. Dew Form Prevention Control• During Cooling Operation, dew form prevention control activates if:• Indoor temperature falls between 24ºC and 30ºC.• Compressor and thermostat is ON.• Indoor fan speed is Low speed.• Setting temperature is less than 25ºC.• During dew form prevention control, the louver is fixed at 30º.• Fan speed and angle of horizontal louver (vertical airflow angle) will be adjusted accordingly in this control.- Fan speed will be increased slowly if the unit is in quiet mode but no change in normal cooling mode.- The angle of horizontal louver will be changed as below figure.Note:A = Normal operation angle of rotationB = Dew prevention angle of rotationHorizontal Louver AngleDuring dew prevention, the horizontal louver angle in Auto-control are as below figure.During dew prevention, the horizontal louver angle in Manual are as below figure.Operation Mode Airflow direction auto-control Airflow direction manual controlCooling, Soft Dry A 3 ~ 27 3, 11, 19, 27B 11 ~ 19 11, 14, 17, 19
