13About Charging• The battery is warmed during and aftercharging, and after use. The camera isalso warmed during the operation,however, it is not malfunction.• Use the supplied cradle or AC adaptorfor this unit.• Pull the plug out of the electrical outletafter completing the charge.• Do not disassemble or alter the cradleor AC adaptor.■ Battery indicatorThe remaining battery power is displayedon the LCD monitor in use.The indication is changed as follows→ → (blinking)according to the consumption of thebattery.When the indicator is shown as(blinking), the battery will beexausted in a few minutes. (Blinks approx. every 2seconds when charging is normal.)When the Power/Card Access Lampblinks more quickly or slowly (or turnsoff), some abnormality may haveoccurred. The flashing speed suggeststhe following states.Blinking approx. every 0.5 seconds:• The SD Multi Camera, battery or ACadaptor may be defective. Contactyour nearest Panasonic dealer.Blinking approx. every 6 seconds:• The ambient temperature or that ofthe battery itself is too high or toolow.
