Keep the number of sessions to aminimum to avoid this.≥This unit is not compatible with ID3 tags.≥This unit is not compatible with files with a sampling rate of 32 kHz.[DVD-CV52] [DVD-CV47]This unit can also play Windows Media Audio (WMA).≥When creating a WMA disc, ensure the copyright feature is off.≥WMA files must have the extension “.WMA” or “.wma”.≥This unit can play WMA files with a compression rate of 48 kbps or more.≥Noise may occur when playing WMA files.≥There are some files this unit cannot play (e.g., copyright protected).“TRACK PROTECTED” or “CANNOT PLAY THIS TRACK” appear on theunit’s display to indicate such tracks.Using menus to play MP3 discsNaming folders and filesAt the time of recording, prefix folder and filenames with 3-digit numbers in the order youwant to play them (this may not work at times).Resume function[DVD-V] [CD] [VCD](When the elapsed play time is displayed)The position you stopped play at is recorded by the unit when “!” isflashing on the display.While “!” is flashing, press [1] (PLAY) to start play from where youstopped it. (When playing DVD ➡ Chapter Preview below)≥The position is cleared when the disc is changed or the unit is switchedto standby.≥Press [∫] to clear the position.Position Memory functionRemote control onlyThis function allows you to memorize a position to start from even afterswitching the unit to standby or changing discs. You can memorizepositions on up to five different discs at a time. When you memorizeanother position, the earliest position is replaced.≥This function doesn’t work if the sequential mode is on.1. During play, press [POSITION MEMORY].2. Press [POWER Í] to switch the unit to standby, or change the disc.3. When you are ready to play the disc again, press [1] (PLAY).Play starts from the memorized position and the position is cleared.(When playing DVD ➡ Chapter Preview below)To clear the positionPress [∫] before recalling the memorized position.Chapter Preview [DVD-V]The message appears immediatelyafter you press [1] (PLAY).Press [1] (PLAY) while the message is displayed and the beginningportions of each chapter up to the current one are played.
