28VQT8621Advanced OperationsNote≥The rating method differs from disc to disc. There are discs designed for adults that do not have theseratings recorded on them. These discs can be played as normal. To prevent play of these discs, set therating limit to “0 Lock All”.Changing ratings (When the level is “0” to “7”)Changes to the settings also requires a password.1 Press the cursor buttons [33333, 44444] to select “2 Ratings” in theinitial settings screen and press [ENTER].2 Enter your 4-digit password with the numeric buttons andpress [ENTER].3 Press the cursor buttons [33333, 44444] to select the item.To unlock the player (the rating level returns to 8)Select “1” and then press [ENTER].To change the passwordSelect “2” and press [ENTER]. Enter a new 4-digit password and press [ENTER], then press[ENTER] again.To change the rating levelSelect “3” and press [ENTER]. Select a new level with the cursor buttons [3, 4], then press[ENTER].To unlock the player temporarilySelect “4” and then press [ENTER].≥The rating is unlocked temporarily for the current disc.
