60RQT9306Changing the unit’s settingsSignal ConditionYou can check the quality and strength of digital broadcast signals.Realign the aerial if you are receiving a poor signal.When “Signal Condition” is displayed in grey and cannot beselected:1 Press [EXIT] to exit the screen.2 Press [W X CH] to select a digital channel. “D” appears on theunit’s display.3 Display the Setup menu again (> 59).Press [3, 4] to select “SignalCondition” and press [OK].The quality and strength of thesignal are shown.Press [W X CH] to select thechannel.Signal QualityBelow 2 (display red):The signal quality is so poor that there may be interference in thepictures and sound.2–5 (display orange):The signal quality is basically adequate, but brief interference in thepictures and sound is possible in isolated case.Over 5 (display green):Optimum picture and sound quality.Signal StrengthThe display for signal strength is grey. “0” means signal strength 0%,“10” means signal strength 100%.If the signal is too strong, the display will change from grey to red.Reduce the signal amplification at your aerial.≥When the signal is weak:– adjust the position and direction of the aerial.– adjust the aerial reception with “DVB Manual Tuning” in theSetup menu (> 59).– check that the current digital broadcast channel is correctlybroadcasting.∫ Settings for Analogue ChannelsPress [OK] to show the following setting.Manual TuningYou can delete analogue channels and set the analogue channeldetails.Press [OK] to show Manual Tuning screen.To delete a programme positionPress [3, 4, 2, 1] to select a programme position and press the“Red” button.To change the tuning settings for individual programmeposition1 Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select a programme position and press[OK].2 Press [3, 4] to select an item and press [1].Signal Quality 0 10Signal Strength 0 10DVB ChannelDVB Signal ConditionRETURNChannel +Channel –[CH14] 5 BR3Pos Programme position in the table(You cannot change the programme position.)Channel To enter or change the Channel of a TVstationPress [3, 4, 2, 1] to enter station nameand press [OK].If the station name needs a blank space,select the blank between “Z” and “¢”.CH To enter newly available TV stations orchange the CH number of an already tunedTV stationPress [3, 4] or the numbered buttons toenter the CH number of the desired TVstation.Wait a few moments until the desired TVstation has been tuned.After the desired TV station is tuned, press[OK].Fine Tuning To obtain the best tuning conditionPress [3, 4] to adjust the best tuningcondition and press [OK].≥Press [1] to return to “Auto”.Mono To select the type of sound to be recordedPress [3, 4] to select “On” if the stereosound is distorted due to inferior receptionconditions, or if you want to record the normal(mono) sound during a stereo or bilingualbroadcast, and press [OK].Manual TuningPos Channel CH Pos Channel CHDelete1 ARD 42 ZDF 23 N3 54 HR3 85 BR3 1067891011121314151617181920OK RETURNSELECTPosChannelCHFine TuningMono9014AutoRETURN : leaveManualTuning ARDOffRETURNSELECTDownloaded From Disc-Player.com Panasonic Manuals
