- 8 -How to Use the Belt HookWARNING!• Be sure to attach the belt hooksecurely to the main unit with thescrew firmly fastened. When the belthook is not firmly attached to the mainunit, the hook may disconnect and themain unit may fall.This may result in an accident orinjury.• Periodically check screw for tight-ness. If found to be loose, tightenfirmly.• Be sure to attach the belt hook firmlyand securely onto a waist belt or otherbelt. Pay attention that the unit does notslip off the belt. This may result in anaccident or injury.• When the main unit is held by thebelt hook, avoid jumping or runningwith it. Doing so may cause the hookto slip and the main unit may fall.This may result in an accident orinjury.• When the belt hook is not used, besure to return it to the storing posi-tion. The belt hook may catch onsomething.This may result in an accident orinjury.• When the unit is hooked onto thewaist belt by the belt hook, do notattach driver bits to the unit. A sharpedge object, such as a drill bit, maycause injury or an accident.To Set the Belt Hook AnglePosition1. Slide the belt hook lock lever 1 andhold it to unlock the belt hook.2 13. Pull the belt hookfrom storing position2 and set it.3. Release the belt hooklock lever to lock theangle of belt hook.4. Make sure the belt hook is firmlylocked. Also make sure the belt hookis firmly locked into position 3.• The belt hook can-not be locked in thisposition. Firmly lockit into position beforeuse.To return the belt hook to the storingposition, follow step 1. and . above,then lower the belt hook.To secure the lock, follow 3 and 4above.To Change the Belt HookLocation SideThe belt hook can be attached toeither side of the unit.1. Set the belt hook at storing posi-tion.. Loosen the screw turning it coun-ter-clockwise, using a flat metal ora flat blade screw driver.3. Take out the belt hook and insertinto the other side of the slot on themain unit.4. Fasten the screw firmly, turning itclockwise.The belt hook can be taken out fromthe main unit only when it is at storingposition.Control Panel(1) ()(3)(1) LED lightPressing toggles theLED light on and off.The light illuminates withvery low current, and itdoes not adversely affectthe performance of thedriver during use or its bat-tery capacity.CAUTION:• The built-in LED light is designed toilluminate the small work area tem-porarily.
