3MODULE SPECIFICATIONS Module specifications are shown inTable 1 and Figure 1. (Electricalspecifications, mechanical specifica-tions, module dimensions)1) Rated electrical characteristics arewithin the range of –5% to +10% ofthe values measured at StandardTest Conditions (STC). STC condi-tions are; Irradiance of 1000W/m2,25°C cell temperature, AM1.5 andsolar spectral irradiance per IEC60904-3. Note: At the time of ship-ment, Panasonic guarantees theoutput level of its modules to be -0/+10% against Rated Power in SPECI-FICATIONS based on factory inspec-tion at STC conditions.2) Under real conditions, a photovolta-ic module may experience condi-tions that produce more currentand/or voltage than reported atStandard Test Conditions. There-fore, the Isc value of modulesshould be multiplied by a factor of1.25 to determine ampacity. Anadditional factor of 1.25 may berequired for sizing conductors, fus-es, disconnects, etc. Please refer tosection 690.8 of the National ElectricCode (NEC) for guidelines. The Vocmust be factored according to thelowest recorded ambient tempera-ture recorded for the locationwhere the modules will be installed.Please refer to section 690.7 of theNEC for more information regardingvoltage temperature factors.MECHANICAL LOADING The modules should be mounted atthe four (4) quarter points by themeans shown in Figure 1. This method offers a maximum loadshown as “Mount Location andLoad Resistance” in Figure 1 in astatic state on the module surface.
