49Error messages on the displayIf the unit detects a problem, the following messages will appear on the display.DISPLAY MESSAGE CAUSE AND REMEDYThere is something wrong with the unit.Contact our service personnel (see page 58).The document is not fed into the unit properly. Reinsert the document. If themisfeeding occurs frequently, clean the document feeder rollers inside the unit(see page 55). If the problem remains, adjust the feeder pressure (see page 54).Memory (phone numbers, parameters, etc.) has been erased. Re-program.A mechanical error occurred. Open the back lid and re-install the recordingpaper (see page 9).The receiving unit is busy or ran out of recording paper. Try again.The unit ran out of recording paper. Install a new recording paper (see page 9).A recording paper jam occurred. Clear the jammed paper (see page 52).The other fax machine does not provide the polling function. Check with theother party.The document is jammed. Remove the jammed document (see page 53).Attempted to transmit a document longer than 600 mm (23 5/8 ").
