Incoming calls to an UCD group are distributedunformly by hunting for an idle extension in a circular way. This UCD feature is particularlyhelpful when a certain extension receives a high volume of calls compared with otherextensions. If all extensions in an UCD group are busy or not available, the incoming outside call will behandled by the UCD Time Table. The UCD Time Table is the same as the Time Table of the Ring Group. An outline sketch of an UCD is shown below.1. When a number of calls have arrived at an UCD group, the 1st call is sent to extension Afirst.Calls have arrived at an UCD group.UCD groupExtension AExtension BExtension C3rd call in queue2nd call in queue1st call in queue(When extension A is busy or UCD log out has beenset at extension A, the call is sent to extension B.)(When extension B is busy or UCD log out has beenset at extension B, the call is sent to extension C.)(When extension C is busy or UCD log out has beenset at extension C, the call is sent to extension A.)
