Messages arerecorded by the telephone company, notyour telephone.Note:L Please contact your telephone companyfor details and availability of this servicein your area.Storing the Voice Mail (VM)access numberIn order to listen to your Voice Mailmessages (page 34), you must dial yourtelephone company’s Voice Mail accessnumber. Once you have stored your VoiceMail access number, you can dial itautomatically by pressing {VM} (page 34).1 Press {MENU}.2 Scroll to “Initial setting” bypressing {V} or {^}, then press{Select}.3 Scroll to “Voice Mail” by pressing {V}or {^}, then press {Select}.4 Scroll to “Store VM access#” bypressing {V} or {^}, then press{Select}.5 Press {V} or {^} to select the desiredline.6 Enter your access number (max. 32digits).L To correct a digit, press {Clear}.Enter the correct number.L If a pause is required when dialing,press {PAUSE} where needed (page24).7 Press {Save}, then press {OFF}.Note:L When storing your Voice Mail accessnumber and your mailbox password,press {PAUSE} to add pauses (page24) between the access number and thepassword as necessary. If you hear a series of dialtones followed by a continuous dial toneafter you press {C} or {s}, you have newVoice Mail messages. Minutes after youhang up a call or after the phone stopsringing, your unit will check the phone lineto see if new Voice Mail messages havebeen recorded.
