Making/Answering Calls20 For assistance, please call 1-800-211-PANA (7262).Voice enhancerThis feature clarifies the voice of theperson you are talking to, reproducing amore natural-sounding voice that is easierto hear and understand.1 Press {MENU} during an outside call.2 To turn this feature on or off, press {3}.L You can also select “V.E. on” or“V.E. off” by pressing {V} or {^}then pressing {>}.L When turned on, “J” will bedisplayed.Note:L Once you turn voice enhancer on, it willbe activated for all outside calls untilturned off.L You can also turn this feature on or off byprogramming (page 37).L Depending on the condition and qualityof your telephone line, this feature mayemphasize existing line noise.
