Any modifications to anypart of the system or to any peripheralsmay void the EMC compliance of thesystem or the peripherals.For best performanceBase unit location/avoiding noiseThe base unit and other compatiblePanasonic units use radio waves tocommunicate with each other.For maximum distance and noise-freeoperation, we recommend the following:L Placing the product away from electricalappliances.L Placing the base unit in a HIGH andCENTRAL location with no obstructionssuch as walls.L Raising the antennas vertically.L If you use the handset near a microwaveoven which is being used, noise may beheard. Move away from the microwaveoven and closer to the base unit.L If you use the handset near anothercordless phone’s base unit, noise maybe heard. Move away from the othercordless phone’s base unit and closer toyour base unit.EnvironmentL Keep the product away from electricalnoise generating devices, such asfluorescent lamps and motors.L The product should be kept free fromexcessive smoke, dust, hightemperature, and vibration.L The product should not be exposed todirect sunlight.L Do not place heavy objects on top of theproduct.L When you leave the product unused fora long period of time, unplug the productfrom the power outlet.
