h Base Unit Settings18Base unit settingsTo customise the base unit:1 {MENU} (right soft key)2 Select h by pressing {^}, {V}, {<}, or {>}. i {OK}3 Enter the base unit PIN (Personal Identification Number; default: “0000”). i {OK}4 Press {^} or {V} to select the desired item in the base unit settings menu. i {OK}5 Press {^} or {V} to select the desired item in the sub-menu. i {OK}6 Press {^} or {V} to select the desired setting then press {OK}.L This step may vary depending on the feature being programmed.L To exit the operation, press {i}.Note:L Use the handset to customise the base unit.L The selected item is highlighted on the display. The currently activated setting is indicated by “t”located on the left of the item on the display.*1 Change the recall time, if necessary, depending on the requirements of your serviceprovider/telephone company or PBX.
