The characters that can be entered depend on thecharacter entry mode (page 47).– Use the joystick to move the cursor.– Press dial keys to enter characters and numbers.– Press ^ to erase the character or number highlighted by the cursor. Press andhold ^ to erase all characters or numbers.– Press {*} to switch between uppercase and lowercase.– To enter another character located on the same dial key, push the joystick right tomove the cursor to the next space, then press the appropriate dial key.Character entry modesThe available character entry modes are Alphabet (ABC), Numeric (0-9), Greek(F), Extended 1 (G), Extended 2 (H), and Cyrillic (I). For SMSmessages, Alphabet (ABC), Numeric (0-9), Greek (F), and Extended 1 (G)modes are available.
