–7–Caller ID ServiceThis unit is compatible with a Caller ID service offered by your telephonecompany.After subscribing to a Caller ID service, the calling party’s information will beshown on the display after the first ring.The unit can record information of up to 30 different callers in the caller list.The Caller List information is sorted from the most recent to the oldest call.When the unit receives the 31st call, the oldest call is deleted.If your unit is connected to a PBX system which does not support Caller IDservices, you cannot access those services. Please consult your equipmentsupplier.Voice Mail SystemThe Voice Mail System allows you to receive and deliver voice messagesusing mailboxes. The system accommodates one general delivery mailboxand a maximum of 8 personal mailboxes which are assigned to the registeredstation units. The mailbox numbers are the same as the extension numbers.The Voice Mail System works fully with the Automated Attendant System,which routes incoming calls to a specified mailbox and allows a caller to leavea message. With the Answering System, all calls are routed to the generaldelivery mailbox.You can use the Voice Mail System by accessing your mailbox. Each stationunit user can only access his/her own mailbox. The general delivery mailboxis managed by the KX-TG4000B base unit user (operator). The extensionusers can access this mailbox.You can also access the Voice Mail System features remotely from a touchtone phone.The following features are accessible:—listening to the recorded messages—transferring the mailbox messages to the destination mailboxes—delivering their own messages to the destination mailboxes
