No.: U.K. 0844 844 3898 R.O.I. 01289 8333– We recommend using the Panasonic rechargeable batteries notedin the base unit’s operating instructions for replacement batteryinformation.1 Firmly press the notch on the handset cover and slide it in thedirection of the arrow.2 Insert the batteries negative (T) end first. Close the handset cover.3 Place the handset on the charger for about 7 hours before initialuse.Note:L The handset display may show “Please Wait...” when thehandset is placed on the charger if it is not registered to the base unit.L If the batteries are fully charged, but the operating time seems to beshorter, clean the battery ends (S, T) and the charge contacts with adry cloth and charge again.Registering the handset to the base unitEnsure that the handset is switched on. If it is not on, press and hold{ih} for few seconds to turn the handset on.1 Handset:Lift the handset and press {ih}.2 Base unit:Press and hold {x} for about 5 seconds, until the registration tonesounds.L If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button tostop.
