A maximum of 64 items can berecorded.L If 64 items have been recorded,conversation recording memory willbecome full even if the total recordingtime is less than 120 minutes.1 Press {r} ({F1} key), while talking.L When recording starts, the remainingrecording time will be displayed inminutes for about 3 seconds.“-Recording-” will be displayedwhile recording.L If the remaining recording time is lessthan 6 minutes, the IN USE indicatorswill flash slowly in amber and green,and the remaining time will bedisplayed as shown below:*1 When recording starts, the remainingrecording time will be displayed in secondsfor about 3 seconds.L If mute is on, the IN USE indicators flashin red.2 To stop recording, press {N}.L If memory becomes full, “ MemoryFull” will be displayed. To recordadditional conversations, eraseunnecessary conversations.Using the AUDIO OUT socketL Conversations are also routed throughthe AUDIO OUT socket. This allows youto connect recording equipment(cassette recorder, computer, etc.) andrecord conversations without using theunit’s recording memory.L Recorded conversations are also routedthrough the AUDIO OUT socket duringplayback.L Connect “AUX IN” or “LINE IN” socket ofrecording equipment using an optionalaudio cable with a 3.5 mm mono plug.Note:L When you record your 2-way telephoneconversation, you should inform theother party that the conversation is beingrecorded.L For Call Waiting service usersIf you receive a call during recording,perform the following to answer the 2ndcall:– If you do not want to record the 2ndcall, press {N}, then press {R}.– If you want to record the 2nd call,press {R}.
