PanasonicKX-UDT 111Before you startThe IP telephone package that you havereceived from us contains the following:wireless receiver, power supply station, powersupply adaptors, and batteries. In anotherpackage from us you have one or more basestations with separately supplied poweradaptor. Installation of the telephone set andthe base station will take only a few minutes.Insert both batteries into the portablereceiver. Connect the power supply adapterto the receiver power supply station and tothe wall socket. Plug the Ethernet cable to thesocket on the rear side of the base station.Plug the other end of the cable to the IPphone socket of the modem, router or switch.If the switch does not support power supplyvia Ethernet cable, connect the power supplyadapter to the base station and to the wallsocket. Check the IP phone base station andturn the antennas on its sidesupward. An indicator in the centre frontshould be on. As soon as it is on, you can turnon the wireless receiver by holding down the“end call” button. Now check the phone’sLCD. When your short telephone number,date and time are shown after a few minutes,everything is ready and you can use yourphone. We have implemented the telephonedirectory of your company directly in thephone. Enter the password you have receivedduring a handover for logging to portal-uc.gtsce.com. The name is your telephonenumber. Here you can customize the VirtualPBX service to suit your needs.1. Making a callGradually press the respective digits to dialthe telephone number. To confirm, press“Answer call”. To end the call, press “Endcall”. During the call, you can switchbetween speaker “Answer call”, byconnecting a “Headset”, or putting thereceiver to your ear.2. General controlsThe navigation buttons are used for browsingthrough menu. Selection is confirmed by OK.Menu can be browsed using the navigationbuttons. You can access the menu bypressing OK.3. Telephone directoryVirtual PBX uses the telephone directories ofthe platform. The directory always includescontacts of all active users within thecompany. You can add, edit or delete items inyour personal directory via the portal-uc.gtsce.com portal.4. Searching in the directoryAfter pressing Directory – Search, startsearching for the contact by pressing up anddown buttons. For quick search (by aperson’s first or last name) press the keysuntil the required symbol appears on thescreen; to delete the symbol, press C (clear);to move through the text, use the left andright navigation buttons.5. Call listPress the Menu context button. This willdisplay the buttons: Inbound journal, Ringvolume, new tel. directory, receiver setting,reminder. To call numbers from the directory,press the “Answer call” button. To delete calllists: Select the entry you wish. Press:Inbound journal - options – delete. If you wishto delete the entire history, press Inboundjournal - options – delete all.6. RedialDialing the last dialed number. Press thedown button. This will display the list ofrecently dialed numbers.7. Forwarding callsForwarding a call with consulting: During thecall, press the “blank” button, dial thetelephone number and confirm by “Answercall”. You can talk to the other party and thenforward the call by pressing “Answer call”again.8. Call holdCall hold: During the call, press the “blank”button. To restore the call with the party,press the “Answer call” context button.9. Conference callConference call for 3 participants: during thecall, press the “func” ”Conference”buttons. This will put the active call with thefirst person on hold and you will hear thedialling tone. Call another participant, i.e. diala number. When the call has beenestablished, connect all participants bypressing the “func” ”Conference” buttons.10. Volume of receiver and speaker (HandsFree), ring volumeChanging the ring volume: Set the requiredvolume using up and down arrows andconfirm changes by pressing OK or back.ReceiverBelt clip holePowerdetermining LEDLCDSoft keysLED indicatorDirectional antennasNavigation keys |
