Waterproof construction (Installa-tion frame type)The operation part of the panel installa-tion type (Installation frame type) is con-structed to prevent water from enteringthe unit and a rubber gasket is provided toprevent water from entering the gap be-tween the unit and the panel cutout. Theremust be sufficient pressure applied to therubber gasket to prevent water from enter-ing. Be sure to use the installation rein-forcement screws when installing theframe (ATH3803).Note) The one-touch installation type is notwaterproof.8. Using a tool remove the up/down hookof the case.2. Pull the unit away from the case.3. Remove the battery from the side of theunit. Do not touch the display or otherparts.4. Before inserting wipe clean the surfaceof the battery.5. Insert the battery with the + and – sidesin the proper position.6. After replacing the battery return theunit to the case. Verify that the hook of thecase has properly engaged.7.
